Farm Food HE Gluten-free

The composition of Farm Food HE “Gluten Free” is largely the same as in Farm Food HE “Scottish Salmon Oil” and “Classic”. One big difference, however, is that the wheat has been replaced with sorghum flour and rice (both puffed and pre-cooked varieties). To make a gluten-free product, most manufacturers simply replace all the wheat with corn. However, we have noticed that the maximum permitted amount of corn is often exceeded. Therefore, we have looked for other solutions. Sorghum flour (much more expensive than corn) is the solution we have found.

Sorghum flour is considered to have been one of the most important ingredients in the prehistoric diet of humans, and, it is assumed, also in the food of prehistoric dogs. Sorghum is a grain similar to rice, and just like rice and corn, it does not contain gluten, which can cause allergies. In this way, the Farm Food HE “Gluten-free” variant is a perfect alternative for dogs that have been shown to be, or are believed to be, gluten-intolerant. In addition, extensive tests have shown that Farm Food HE “Gluten-free” is also a very good dog food alternative for dogs that suffer from bad stomachs/digestion.

Farm Food is a natural food and does not contain artificial antioxidants or preservatives. Unopened best before date: see stamp. Shelf life when opened: 3 months. Best before date: see stamp. It is important that Farm Food HE is stored in a cool, dark place where the open bag can “breathe”. Therefore, never store Farm Food HE in a closed plastic container. When the food is sealed, the taste may change. Dogs can smell it much better than we can.
